The United States western coastal region is really booming when it comes to producing world-class wines. Seattle and greater Washington are included in the movement. There are an increasing number of wineries popping up to take advantage of the perfect soil quality and grape growing climate found in this region. A nice weekend getaway idea is to visit some of the local wineries and taste the exceptional quality of wines these winemakers are known for producing.
The World Fair was in Seattle Washington back in 1962. As a major exhibition for the fair the gigantic Space Needle building was erected. There is an elevator that takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle where you get a whole different perspective on the Seattle Washington Skyline. At the very top is a nice restaurant called SkyCity. The whole restaurant rotates so you get to see Seattle from every angle possible. The food there regularly receives good reviews.
It is another best station experience the local tastes in the Seattle area is to visit the Pike Place farmers' market. It is a very popular shopping center for locals as well as visitors. There are all kinds of interesting things happening there. There are also many different varieties of food to sample and purchase. Make sure you visit this place. You won't regret it. Also, Seattle has an interesting Native American tourist attraction called the Tillicum Village. The Tillicum Village is an island village where the history of the local Native Americans can be experienced. You can learn all kinds of cool information about the early settlers of the northwestern United States.
Being a coastal city, Seattle has a large boating based industry. One part of that industry are the ferries. If you've never taken a ferry before, it is a pretty cool experience. You get a different view of downtown Seattle from the water. You'll notice the beauty of the area's natural surroundings. Make some time on your trip to take a short ferry ride.
Common among other popular USA destinations is the local zoo. You can see an assortment of animals and other exhibits there. It is the perfect place to take the family for an afternoon. Check out the elephants and giraffes. They also have some things that zoo-goers can participate in like feeding the giraffes and making African bead bracelets. It makes for an enjoyable and relaxing afternoon. If you plan your visit far enough ahead of time, you may be able to get tickets to one of Seattle's professional sports team games. The Seattle Seahawks put on a great show in their relatively modern Qwest Field stadium. You can visit the Key Arena in Seattle to see the Seattle Storm WNBA basketball team or the Seattle Sonics NBA team. Safeco Field is home to the Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball team.
Spend a Saturday crawling around the Seattle area microbreweries. For guys, what could be more exciting? You can choose from a variety of lagers, ales, and stouts ranging from light to full bodied. Make sure you taste an ESB (extra special bitters) ale enjoyed at the Redhook Ale Brewery.
If you only have a day or two in Seattle you can do what we did, and get the Grayline Hop On Hop Off Double Decker bus tour. Get on and off as many times as you like. There are seven stops around downtown and a bus stops at each stop every 30 minutes or so. Many of the stops are close together, so if you have a car, you can do the tour yourself. Just get a map of the route and you should be set. You will save the $19 per person. You probably will not want to stop at all the stops so just pick and choose ahead of time.

Mac 1. Download your favourite wallpaper clicking on the blue download button below the wallpaper. 2. In this order, click Apple Menu > System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop 3. Now find the image you want to use. Here you’ll want to select your own, so you’ll select the location your new image downloaded. 4. Click on the photo. 5. Exit back to your desktop and see what it looks like!
iPhone/iPad 1. Find an image you like on wallpapertag.com and click on the blue download button below an image. 2. Tap on an image and hold on a few seconds. Choose “save image” from the list below. 3. Navigate to the “Photos” app and find the image you want as your background. 5. Use the share button (the one that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it). 6. Select the “Use as a Wallpaper” button 7. Here you can arrange the picture how you want it, then tap “set.” 8. Next you can select whether you want this image to be set as the background of your lock screen, home screen or both. 9. Navigate back to your home screen and take a look at your new wallpaper.
Android 1. Search for a wallpaper you like on wallpapertag.com and download it clicking on the blue download button below the wallpaper. 2. Open your gallery/photos app and click on the “download” folder. 3. The first image you see here should be the image you downloaded. 4. Click on the image and in the top right corner, click the menu button (three vertical dots). 5. In the drop down menu, click “Set as wallpaper.” 6. You’ll then be prompted to select whether you want to set the image as the background of your home screen, lock screen or both. 7. You’ll then be able to move the image to how you like. When you’re satisfied, press “set as wallpaper.” 8.Go back to your home screen and enjoy your new wallpaper!
