A peacock is a beautiful and admirable pet that is suitable for rural surroundings and farms. Most people call females peahens and males peacocks. However, even experts have preferred calling both males and females peacocks. Finding others calling them peafowls is not a mistake, it is also an acceptable name.

How do you care for peacocks? Well, seeing these birds healthy needs a lot of work and resources to be put in place. Caring for them is not a walk in the park, and requires a lot of hard work and commitment. If you have one in your compound, or you admired one in a peacock wallpaper, and you need to get some as soon as possible, here is how to efficiently take care of them.

Always ensure that the chicks have maximum warmth. Just like many other domestic and wild birds, a peacock's chicks need to be kept warm for them to grow. Therefore, make sure you provide them with enough heat for the first six weeks of their lives. Begin with a temperature of 95o F and decrease this by 5o F every week. This will, however, vary depending on the season of the year, and whether or not you experience extreme weathers in your locality.
Always keep an eye on the chicks and carefully study their body language. If you find out that the chicks always huddle together, know that the warmth you provided is not enough. You will be aware that the heat is sufficient once you see them moving freely.

Provide a safe wooden shelter. Peacocks need a proper shelter. Build a secure wooden shed for them, and make sure you provide them with enough warmth by installing a warming light. The barn will give them a place to nest, and a place they can comfortably lay their eggs. Make sure the shelter has enough lofts where the birds can stand. If you find that there are pests and predators nearby, consider policing a radio and leaving it on all the time, these destroyers will never come near human voices.

Make the shelter big enough. Do not build a small and stuffy pen. Make it beg enough where the birds can play, run around, and sometimes hold a fight. The pen should also be big enough for the males to do what they do best; displaying their feathers fully when they strut and impress the females.

Now find the image you want to use. Here you’ll want to select your own, so you’ll select the location your new image downloaded. 4. Click on the photo. 5. Exit back to your desktop and see what it looks like!

iPhone/iPad 1. Find an image you like on wallpapertag.com and click on the blue download button below an image. 2. Tap on an image and hold on a few seconds. Choose “save image” from the list below. 3. Navigate to the “Photos” app and find the image you want as your background. 5. Use the share button (the one that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it). 6. Select the “Use as a Wallpaper” button 7. Here you can arrange the picture how you want it, then tap “set.” 8. Next you can select whether you want this image to be set as the background of your lock screen, home screen or both. 9. Navigate back to your home screen and take a look at your new wallpaper.

Android 1. Search for a wallpaper you like on wallpapertag.com and download it clicking on the blue download button below the wallpaper. 2. Open your gallery/photos app and click on the “download” folder. 3. The first image you see here should be the image you downloaded. 4. Click on the image and in the top right corner, click the menu button (three vertical dots). 5. In the drop down menu, click “Set as wallpaper.” 6. You’ll then be prompted to select whether you want to set the image as the background of your home screen, lock screen or both. 7. You’ll then be able to move the image to how you like. When you’re satisfied, press “set as wallpaper.” 8.Go back to your home screen and enjoy your new wallpaper!
