It is not a typical suicide ground
Although deaths are not common in this tower, they are not entirely unheard. Since its inception in 1889, only 349 successful suicides have been reported here. This is according to the Societe de la Tour Eiffel. Most of the deaths were from daredevils who tried to perform dangerous stunts, while some were from people who hanged themselves from the beam, or jumped from the highest level.

It was used as a communication interception center during the World War I
This mesmerizing tower has a wireless communication station which was used by the French military during the World War I to intercept enemy communications from Berlin, Germany. This enabled the French army to arrest, convict, and execute enemies quickly.

It was the tallest man made structure for 41 years

How to setup a wallpaper
