About collection

Emma Watson is a British actress born in Paris, France. She was raised by her two English parents, Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, in Oxfordshire, England. There she attended the Dragon school and learned to act at the Stagecoach Theatre Arts. Her most famous acting role was Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie series, a role she played from 2001 to 2011 and spanned across eight films. Surprisingly, this was also her first acting role. Before that, she had only acted in school plays. A few fun facts: Watson was J. K. Rowling’s recommended pick for Hermione, and Watson’s favorite Harry Potter book is Prisoner of Azkaban.

Watson’s career continued outside of the Harry Potter series in roles such as the voice of Princess Pea in The Tale of Despereaux (2008), Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), and most recently Belle in the live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast (2017).

Not letting her film career get in the way of her education, Watson also continued to study at both Brown University and Worcester College where she eventually received a bachelor’s degree in English literature. Her experience in college was relatively normal, despite being famous. In fact, many of her classmates were very protective of her. Watson’s career has since expanded to modeling, including working with Burberry and Lancome, she’s worked as a fashion consultant, and she is a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and advocates for gender equality.
